How Snugtrail's weekly league works
Snugtrail's league is a free weekly competition inside the Snugtrail jigsaw puzzle game. One league puzzle opens each day, from Monday to Sunday, and you get one try at it. The league sets the size of each league puzzle. The league opens as a practice league.
A practice league, for now
For now the league is a practice league. The names on the league table are Tuck's friends. They are characters, not real players, and the league screen is labelled "Practice league". A practice week does not change your tier or pay prizes.
Four tiers
The league has four tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Diamond. Under the league rules, the top 5 players in a league move up a tier the next week, and the bottom 5 of a league with more than ten players move down. Nobody moves up on zero points.
How a league puzzle is scored
Under the league rules, your place is decided by your score. Each finished league puzzle scores:
| Part | Rule |
|---|---|
| Base | 10 points for every piece |
| Speed | Multiplied by your speed against a par of 6 seconds a piece, between half and double |
| Peek | 10% less for each peek at the picture |
| Ghost | 15% less if you used the ghost image |
Seasonal boosts and scratch-card multipliers can raise a puzzle's points. They are available to every player.
Free, and fair
- The league is free. No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
- A league puzzle never uses a play, so you can always play the day's league puzzle.
- Nothing you can buy makes a league puzzle easier.
- You must be 13 or older to take part. Kids profiles never take part in leagues.
Prizes
Under the league rules, prizes are items inside the app, such as prize pictures and scratch cards. They have no cash value. The full list is in the official rules.
